St. Louis pt. 2

After the children's zoo, we went around the rest of the zoo.  Nadya really wanted to go and see the giraffes while we were there.  It was a beautiful day to go to the zoo.  A little crowded and humid but for the most part very enjoyable.  The leopard was just pacing back and forth and the girls loved watching it.  We saw some pretty cool animals and we only saw probably a quarter of the zoo that day.  We were there for about 3 hours and by the end the girls and I were getting pretty hungry and tired.  My feet and stomach were very sore.  I guess that is what happens walking around almost 9 months pregnant.  We had a really good time.  After we finished at the zoo, we went to lunch and then Nadya wanted to go see the Arch.  After 45 minutes of sitting in the car just to drive by it, we decided to head home.  We then stopped in Columbia to get frozen custard, get gas, and walk around for a little bit.  The custard was delicious.  It was a really fun trip and the girls were really good for it.  I'm glad we were able to take it and enjoy some more time with Earl before he becomes crazy busy again.

 This giraffe was pretty close.

The penguins, we would have liked to go inside to see more but the line was ridiculously long.
