St. Louis Trip pt.1

We were able to take a trip to St. Louis for a few days this week.  Since Earl had to take boards in Jefferson City, we were able to work it out to get a free hotel room and decided to make to most of it and take a trip with our family before Earl starts up his rotations and we have our baby.
We drove down Thursday afternoon and went to dinner with the girls.  Then Earl let me got to the temple while he took the girls swimming at the hotel room.  The temple was great.  I haven't been for a while and we both knew that once the baby was born, I probably wouldn't be going a long time.  It was a very small session but so peaceful and I absolutely loved it.
The next day, we went to the St. Louis zoo.  We definitely got our exercise that day.  We decided that we would spend a little and take the girls into the children's zoo and it was worth it.  They had a lot of animals that the girls could touch if they came close enough.  The girls got to pet rabbits and guinea pigs, brush goats and pet them.  They also got to see 2 different kinds of armadillos (Nadya's favorite), birds, a tree kangaroo, alpacas, donkey, and many more things.  They had a little building set up with smaller animals and play things in it.  That was Samantha's favorite place.  She loved the little jeep in there and a play tree house.  She could have stayed there all day.
