Christmas Day
I can't believe how much fun Christmas is with 2 wonderful little girls. They had a lot of fun opening their presents and playing with their new toys. Nadya got her Cinderella dress that she has been asking for and lots of extra stuff. These girls are not lacking for attention or things. We were able to spend the morning at home opening presents and enjoying the gifts. For the afternoon we went to Earl's family. We wanted to go to mine for the evening but with the weather, we postponed it for the weekend. It was fun to talk to Nadya about why we celebrate Christmas. She loved talking about Jesus and the gift of his life. She really enjoyed giving gifts this year as well as receiving.
I love this season and spending it with family. It has been kind of a bittersweet experience, knowing that it is our last Christmas with our extended families. It is pretty certain that we will be going to Kirksville, Missouri for school and it will be hard to come back. It will be worth it though.
