It started off a little rocky when our van decided to overheat about a half hour into the drive. We made it to a NAPA store, got it to cool off and then drove back home. We moved all of our stuff over to Earl's car, took the van to a place to fix it and then headed on the road. Aside from the tight fit, we had a great drive down to St. Louis. Since it took us a little longer to get down, we had to change our plans up a little bit. We decided to go to the Arch and go up in it. It was a lot of fun. Grace was a little hesitant in the pods to go up but once she made it to the top, she loved climbing around and looking out the windows. It was a little unnerving watching my kids so high up and looking through the windows.
After the Arch, we went and had dinner with our friends, the Sparks. We hadn't seen them in a while and the girls had fun seeing them and their baby. It was a fun night.
The girls looked so small standing next to the arch.
Getting into the tram.
Just a glimpse of how cramped the tram really is. No wonder they ask if you have a problem with claustrophobia.
Grace did not like going in the tram. She held on extremely tight.
The view
She had no problem with heights.
Cute picture of Earl and Grace
