Nadya's Baptism

Nadya was baptized on March 2.  It was such a neat experience to have her baptized.  We have been talking to her about it for quite a while to make sure that she was prepared and really have it be her decision.  She made it a goal for herself to read the Book of Mormon before her baptism.  She made that goal and I am so proud of her.  Not many kids can say that they have read the Book of Mormon but she can.  She is such an amazing girl and she knows the church is true.  She is a great missionary, too.  She has invited so many people to church, given away a Book of Mormon to her teacher, and she invited one of her friends to her baptism.  She may not see the example that she is, but she is extremely special and will have a big influence on many people.  We love you Nadya and are so happy with the choice that you have made to be baptized.
Nadya was baptized and confirmed by her dad.  We are so blessed that he is a worthy priesthood holder and can perform these ordinances for our family.
We were lucky to have her grandparents come and spend this day with her.  We are so grateful to all of them for making the long trip out to be with us.  It was fun having them here.

Had to throw this in.  Grandpa's ipad was a big hit with the girls.

Congratulations, Nadya! I can't believe you are 8, and a such a good example to your little sisters! We wish your family had a good excuse to come to Sacramento...
