We have been lucky to have Earl off school this week for spring break. It has been such a nice time to have him home spending time with us. We have also been lucky to have my parents here this week.
We needed to go to St. Louis for Samantha's eye appointment and decided to go a little early to see some of the sights. We went to the St. Louis zoo and it was so much fun. They had a lot of cool things to see and it was free. I really enjoyed the butterfly house. It was so cool to see the butterflies flying free and getting some neat pictures.
It was neat to have the exhibits so close. We were right up to where we could almost touch a lot of the animals and see them so well. I loved watching the penguins swim around and also the hippos. The animals were so much fun to see. It was also great weather. I couldn't believe how perfect it was. I had so much fun spending time with my family.

Very cool! Next time you go to St. Louis you have to take your kids to City Museum, it's awesome!
