Relief

This week during Earl's spring break, we took Samantha to an eye check-up in St. Louis. It has been almost 9 months since she has seen an eye doctor and I have been a little antsy to get her in. It was such a good appointment. We loved the doctor that she saw and it was well worth the 3 1/2 hour drive. He was so good to explain everything and to answer our questions. He was really good with Samantha. She is doing great. He said that she should be written up as to what it looks like when things go right with this type of surgery. I'm so glad to hear that she is doing so well. Her vision looks good, the sling in her eye is doing really well and we don't need to see him again for at least a year. Yea. The trip was really fun, though, and we will be excited to go back to St. Louis again. I'll post pictures and talk more about that later.
