Last night we were able to take the girls to the U of U gymnastics meet against UCLA. Since Earl is an employee at the U, it was free. I'm all about going places for free. We had seats in the general admission (which is the nose bleeds). As we climbed the stairs, Nadya headed straight to the top and sat down. It ended up working out really well because she didn't end up getting in the way of anyone. We had so much fun watching the gymnasts and watching the girls. Nadya loved being able to scream for the gymnasts. "Good job, Girl!" was the most common phrase she would say. Sam loved/was mesmerized by the big screen that they showed the events on. All in all it was a fun night for us and I loved being able to show Nadya how much fun gymnastics can be.
Yesterday morning, I took Sam back to the doctor's to check on her weight. She is now 19 pounds 6 ounces at 10 months old. She gained almost a pound and yet she is still only in the 45th percentile. The doctor isn't worried about her weight, he just thinks that she is going to be tall and skinny. However, he really didn't have any clue as to why she isn't sleeping. Oh well, I guess it's something we have to continue to work on. Hopefully it will get better.
