Tough Day

This is going to be kind of a vent post for me. Yesterday was one of those days that is seems like everything goes wrong. I went to take the car in because it had been leaking something and the check engine light had turned on. I didn't really think it would be that big of a deal but when I got the news, I wanted to cry. Our car is leaking steering fluid and to fix the problem it will cost almost $1000. Of course that is money that we just don't have. Then as I was walking out to the car, I noticed that our registration has run out, but we never received the renewal form. So I called the DMV to figure out what the problem was and found out that they had the wrong address. I then had to run down to the DMV and pay to get the registration done. Thank goodness that we didn't have to get safety and emissions done this year. The good thing with all of this, is that I was at my in-laws and they were able to watch the girls during all of this. I don't know what I would have done without them.
It has just been a rough couple of weeks. Nadya was sick while Earl was gone on one of his interviews, then I got strep and tonsilitis. Once I got over it, this all happened. Plus now that we have to pay for the car, we need to make a deposit to Kirksville to hold Earl's spot. It just seems like everything always hits at once. We are so excited to have Earl get in and it looks like Kirksville, Missouri is where we are going to be going but it just seems so daunting to get everything ready. I'm glad to know pretty definitely where we are going and it will be an exciting time for us. I just wish that everything didn't come all at once. I know a lot of you go through the same things, so please forgive me for the complaining. I know that it will get better and it will all be worth it in the end.
