Growing Fast!

So, I haven't posted for a while and figured I should. Not much has happened in a week except, I am amazed at how much the girls are changing. They are growing fast, especially Sam. I guess that is to be expected but she is growing so much more than Nadya did during that first six months. I'm surprised at how tall she is already. It's hard to keep upwith her in clothes and with food. I love them so much but they can definitely try my patience on certain days. Sam still is not sleeping through the night which is so hard. Nadya likes to have her tantrums but then she'll come back and give me a big kiss and tell me that she really loves me. How can you stay mad when they do that.

The other day when I went in to get Nadya from quiet time, she was sitting on the floor in front of her doll and stuffed animals reading them stories. She is so much fun to watch. She loves books and is getting good and knowing them by heart. What a smart girl she is.

Sam loved playing Wii with Scott. She kept grabbing for the controller making it pretty hard for Scott to play. He is so good with the girls. They are lucky to have such wonderful family around them.

The girls absolutely love eachother. Every morning Nadya runs straight for Samantha to give her hugs and kisses. Sam watches Nadya wherever she goes. She just smiles at Nadya and wants to touch her face and hair if she can reach it. It's so fun to see them together. Nadya loves having her picture taken with Sam and she loves holding her when I let her.

Samantha is starting to sit up. I can't believe how much she is doing now. I don't remember it going so fast with Nadya. It's fun to see how much she is changing.

Nadya is again wanting to dress herself. Which for the most part is great. It just happens that she loves her cowboy boots and wants to wear them with everything, even shorts. Oh well, I guess everyone has to go through this. She's still pretty darn cute. She loves drawing on her whiteboard. She's getting pretty good at it too. The other day she drew Curious George and the man in the yellow hat. My little artist.

Sam has learned how to blow bubbles with her tongues. She loves the noise and mess that comes with it. It's pretty fun to watch. The video is not great but I had fun and thought it would be fun to watch. Sorry if you don't like it.

How cute! And yes, it seems that the next child always grows up faster than you could remember the first one doing. And the third goes even faster! They are so cute...the picture of the two of them together on the couch is adorable!!!

I feel for about sleeping through the night. I finally forced it with Abe (letting him cry) at 6 months, but it was still off and on for another 2 months. It seems as though everytime we'd get he'd start teething or get sick or something...arrgh. She'll get it though..eventually.

CJ was going through a cowboy boot phase. I think every little child does. And of course he always wanted to wear them with shorts. As long as he was at home I let him. What can it hurt? Kids are so funny sometimes!
