So this was Samantha's year for a birthday party. She decided that she wanted to take a few friends to the Hot Skates and go Skating. She had a great time. It was hard for her but she loved it. She definitely had a few war wounds by the end but she was smiling the whole time. Her present this year was to get her ears pierced. She has loved having it done and she was very brave. They look great and have healed nicely. Samantha wanted an ice cream cake this year so it served as both her cake and ice cream. Nice and easy for mom. We love you, Samantha. She is our sensitive girl, who cares about everyone, loves playing the piano, reading, and works hard in school. She is such a sweet, beautiful girl and we are lucky that she is part of our family.
