We had a fun month in October. The kids enjoyed going trick or treating and we were able to take them to a place called Conner Prairie for the Headless Horseman night.They had fun activities for the kids and then a hayride that was great. The headless horsemen were really well done, but I didn't get a picture of that.
We also took the kids to the local pumpkin patch for Grace's preschool fall activity. Nadya and Samantha were out of school and Earl was off work so we all got to go together. We got to go on a hayride for that too. The kids got to pick out a little pumpkin of their own and then they got a cookie and fresh cider from the apple trees on the farm. It was a fun activity for the whole family.
Earl and I were invited to a couples Halloween party. The theme was the "90's" so naturally we had to pick something that would suit Earl. He looked great and we won the best costume this year. I had a dolphin hat but Earl is the reason that we won.
The girls picked out their own costumes. Samantha was a vampire, Nadya was a zombie, Grace was a fairy princess, and Levi refused to wear a costume so we just put him in a Great Pumpkin t-shirt. It suited his personality perfectly.
