So school is put for the girls and Earl had a week off of work and we decided that we wanted to go to the temple and see some friends. We were able to do that by going to Columbus. It was such a fun little trip
We hadn't seen the Price's since graduation but have so much fun when we do. There kids are the same age as ours and we just enjoy their family. They were so good to let us stay with them and we had unscheduled so it was just a fun time. The kids had fun playing on the trampoline and the hose. They played board games and we want to a park. Angel was so sweet to watch all of them so that Earl and I could go to the temple together, which has not happened for quite a while.
Then we were able to go to the Columbus Zoo. It was a lot of fun going with friends. They had a lot of great exhibits. The gorillas, manderils, and they also had a komodo dragon and manatee. It was a very good day for the zoo.
After the zoo, the older kids went to the zoo and the younger ones hung out at the house. Samantha got a strike and a spare and was thrilled with that.
On the drive home, we ran into pretty bad traffic on the free way, so we decided to follow the gps on Earl's phone. It took us around the traffic and to a part of Ohio that we probably will never go again. We crossed a bridge over a reservoir that freaked Earl and I out but the girls thought it was pretty cool. It looked like their was a canopy of trees.
It was such a nice break from Earl's work and school. We had such a great time.
Grace and Levi with the maderil
All the kids with the gorilla
I love this picture of Levi by the manatee
Levi was pretty exhausted from this trip
Grace was pretty tired too, but couldn't get in a comfortable position.
Levi was pretty happy for this little part of the trip.
