Our amazing, oldest daughter is now ten years old. I can still remember holding her for the first time. I am such a lucky mom to have this girl in my life. She is so smart, loves to help, loves her family, is so kind to others and wants to make everyone feel included.
This year was her year for a birthday. She planned to whole thing herself. She wanted to have her friends over to decorate cupcakes and play games. They played clue(she won) and pictionary. It is amazing how crazy six, 10 year old girls can be but they were good and had a lot of fun.
Then, on her actual birthday, we did the family thing. We went to church first and when we got home, she got to open a few of her presents. She loved everything she got. We had baked pancakes, scrambled eggs, and mandarin oranges for her birthday dinner. Then she requested raspberry, white chocolate cheesecake. It was a fun day celebrating with her. We love this wonderful girl.
