I decided to be induced again. I really didn't want to wait until my due date and with Earl's crazy schedule it worked out better to have it planned. We went into the hospital at 7 am and got started on the pitocin by 8. They kept upping the dose until about 10 and then the doctor came in to break my water. Immediately after, the contractions hit and they hit hard. I was able to get my epidural pretty quick after but because I progressed so fast it didn't kick in. They gave me two extra doses and I still felt a lot of pain in my left side and in my back. It was by far the worst pain I have ever felt and the worst of all my labors. Poor Earl and the nurse had to hear a lot of crying from me. I'm sure Earl's hand was pretty sore by the end too. By the time the doctor made it back up to my room, I was ready to push. I went being dilated to a 2 and 50% effaced when he broke my water, to a 10 and ready to push in under 2 hours. I surprised the doctor by how fast I progressed. Pushing was very hard but it went quick and Levi came out looking perfect. He didn't have any bruising and his head was perfectly shaped. He was 8 lbs. 14 oz and 21 inches long. He has dark brown hair and is the cutest little boy. We absolutely adore him. His big sisters screamed with delight when Earl called them to let them know he was here. It was fun to hear.
I guess I should have a few pregnancy pictures. I was huge. I guess because he was my biggest baby.

I love when he is awake.
