Today I got a call from the school nurse. Nadya was in her office laying down because she had a temperature of 103 and her throat hurt. I quickly took Samantha over to our neighbor's place (thank you Jenny) and drove as fast as I could to the school. Meanwhile, Earl was great and ran to the doctor's office and got Nadya an appointment right away. When I walked into the office, Nadya was laying down on the bed wrapped in a towel and a blanket because she was so cold. She was completely flushed and when the nurse checked her temperature it was up to 105. I felt awful. How could I not know she was that sick.
At the doctor's office, she didn't even do a swab. She looked at her throat and knew right away that she had strep. I'm grateful they got her in so fast and we could get her on some antibiotics. Hopefully they will kick in fast and she can feel better. I hope that the rest of us don't get it too. Thanks again Jenny for taking Samantha on such short notice. I am so grateful for good friends.

Oh so sad! I hope she gets feeling better soon.
Strep throat is the worst. Hopefully she will feel better soon. Madi had it 2 weeks ago. It's definitely that time of year when everyone is sick.
So sorry. That is the worst. Hope she feels better soon!
Step is not fun!! We have had that battle twice already. Hopefully she will get better soon and the rest of you will stay healthy.
